During my stay, the noise from the kitchen extraction system was quite distracting in the evenings. I found my room a bit lacking in sound insulation as I could hear activities from nearby spaces. These disturbances, while not unbearable, certainly detracted from my overall experience.

Don’t miss visiting the local pubs, and we enjoyed the live coverage of the League Two match at Peninsula Stadium. Definitely a memorable trip!

I loved the cozy bar with a roaring log fire and the extensive drink choices. My dog enjoyed their own menu too, which was a good surprise!

the white was a delightful stay! the room was beautifully decorated with luxurious fluffy towels and a comfy bed. the tea service was a cute touch. dinner and breakfast were both delicious, especially those heavenly cheese scones. it’s located in a lovely area that’s great for exploring.

The Superior King Room was really comfy and beautifully decorated. Loved the little touches like the coffee maker, pretty teapot, and lovely biscuits. The bathroom was excellent, too, making the whole stay cozy. Just a perfect spot to kick back and relax.

The freezing bathroom situation was a significant letdown. the heating was off and left my partner and me quick-showering in the cold. The hairdryer was a hassle, overheating during use, and the coffee pod machine was unreliable. Limited seating in the sun outside only added to the feeling of cramped space in the room, especially with random extras like a chess board taking up valuable real estate. Plus, the door lock issue is a concern—definitely a safety worry if you get stuck inside your room like I did. it looks charming but has its quirks that need addressing.
